So far Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 15.10, and Ubuntu 14.04 are supported.<\/p>\n<p>1. To add the PPA.<\/p>\n<p>Open terminal from the Dash, App Launcher, or via Ctrl+Alt+T shortcut keys. When it opens, run command:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers\/ppa<\/pre>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/nvidia-ppa.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/nvidia-ppa-450x84.jpg\" alt=\"nvidia-ppa\" width=\"450\" height=\"84\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5244\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/nvidia-ppa-450x84.jpg 450w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/nvidia-ppa-600x112.jpg 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/nvidia-ppa.jpg 690w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For those who&#8217;ve added Xorg-edgers PPA and Michael Marley&#8217;s Nvidia PPA (deprecated), remove them via:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:xorg-edgers\/ppa\n\nsudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:mamarley\/nvidia<\/pre>\n<p>2.
