When it opens, navigate to <b>Other Software<\/b> tab, and click <b>Add<\/b> button to add the line below:<\/p>\n<pre>deb http:\/\/repo.sinew.in\/ stable main<\/pre>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/add-enpass-repo.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/add-enpass-repo-600x354.jpg\" alt=\"add enpass repository\" width=\"600\" height=\"354\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-5851\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/add-enpass-repo-600x354.jpg 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/add-enpass-repo-450x265.jpg 450w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/add-enpass-repo.jpg 787w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>2.<\/b> Open terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T), paste the command below and hit run to get the keyring, so your system will trust the packages from the repository:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">wget -O - http:\/\/repo.sinew.in\/keys\/enpass-linux.key | sudo apt-key add -<\/pre>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/enpass-key.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/enpass-key-600x69.jpg\" alt=\"Enpass repository key\" width=\"600\" height=\"69\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-5852\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/enpass-key-600x69.jpg 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/enpass-key-450x52.jpg 450w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/enpass-key.jpg 868w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll be asked to type in password to be able to add the key, and there&#8217;s no visual feedback while typing your password.<\/p>\n<p><b>3.<\/b> Now if you have <b>Synaptic Package Manager<\/b> installed, launch it and search for and install <code>enpass<\/code> after clicked Refresh.<\/p>\n<p>Or you can run the commands below one by one to do the refresh and install things:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo apt update\n\nsudo apt install enpass<\/pre>\n<p>Once installed, you need to log out and back in to be able to launch the software from Unity Dash.<\/p>\n<p><b>4.<\/b> (Optional) To uninstall Enpass password manager, use Synaptic Package Manager or run the command below in terminal:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo apt remove enpass<\/pre>\n<p>To remove Enpass repository, use Software &#038; Updates -> Other Software.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Enpass is a password management program for Linux, Windows, Mac OS, Web, and Mobile devices.
