Gradio is new one that allows users to find radio stations by typing a keyword in the search box, and then listen to one internet radio by clicking on it.<\/p>\n<p>The simple tool requires GTK3 >= 3.18, so it works on Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu 16.10, and their derivatives, e.g., Linux Mint 18 and Elementary OS 0.4 Loki.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/gradio-ubuntu.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/gradio-ubuntu-600x314.jpg\" alt=\"Gradio Internet Radio App\" width=\"600\" height=\"314\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6079\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/gradio-ubuntu-600x314.jpg 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/gradio-ubuntu-280x146.jpg 280w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/gradio-ubuntu.jpg 1167w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>How to install Gradio in Ubuntu 16.04:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The pre-compiled binary packages are available for download at the link below:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href='https:\/\/github.com\/haecker-felix\/gradio\/releases' class='arconix-button arconix-button-medium arconix-button-gray' target=\"_blank\" >Download Gradio (.deb)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Choose amd64.deb for 64-bit system and i386.deb for 32-bit system, and then click install the package via Ubuntu Software.<\/p>\n<p>For those who want to add the PPA and receive future updates via Software Updater, open terminal <b>(Ctrl+Alt+T)<\/b> and run commands to add the PPA repository (so far supports for Ubuntu 16.04 and 16.10):<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo add-apt-repository ppa:haecker-felix\/gradio-daily\n\nsudo apt update\n\nsudo apt install gradio<\/pre>\n<p><b>(Optional)<\/b> To remove the software, simply run <code>apt<\/code> command with <code>remove<\/code> flag:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo apt remove gradio<\/pre>\n<p>And the PPA can be remove by launching <b>Software &#038; Updates<\/b> utility and navigating to <b>Other Software<\/b> tab.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are a few applications available for listening internet radio stations in Ubuntu Desktop.
