Here&#8217;s how to install it in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS via PPA.<\/p>\n<h4>Changes in Avidemux 2.6.13:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>updated Toolchain for Win64 and OS X<\/li>\n<li>Linux AppImage available (universal linux64 binaries)<\/li>\n<li>Update to libav* 3.0.2<\/li>\n<li>Improved copy mode for h264\/h265 video<\/li>\n<li>AAC\/ADTS import\/export<\/li>\n<li>new video filter : ivtcDupeRemover to remove duplicate after 3:2 pulldown<\/li>\n<li>Revamped refresh screen<\/li>\n<li>ASS\/SSA fixes<\/li>\n<li>Improved logo filter with alpha channel<\/li>\n<li>ShaderLoader, load your openGL shaders as filters<\/li>\n<li>Compatibility with newer gcc<\/li>\n<li>Partial filter available only for one in\/one out video filters<\/li>\n<li>Add go fwd\/go backward 60 sec buttons<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Install Avidemux 2.6.13 in Ubuntu 16.04:<\/h4>\n<p>The Qt and CLI version of Avidemux 2.6.13 has been made into the <del datetime=\"2019-04-04T15:20:58+00:00\">GetDeb Apps repository<\/del>, available for Ubuntu 16.04 and Linux Mint 18. To install it, do below steps:<\/p>\n<div class=\"arconix-box arconix-box-yellow\"><i class='fa fa-2x pull-left fa-lightbulb-o'><\/i><div class=\"arconix-box-content\">For those prefer the GTK version, wait Avidemux 2.6.13 to be made into <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~rebuntu16\/+archive\/ubuntu\/avidemux+unofficial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Thanh Tung Nguyen&#8217;s PPA<\/a><\/div><\/div>\n<p>1. Add GetDeb repository by opening terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and running the command:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border: none;\">sudo sh -c 'echo \"deb http:\/\/archive.getdeb.net\/ubuntu xenial-getdeb apps\" &gt;&gt; \/etc\/apt\/sources.list.d\/getdeb.list'<\/pre>\n<p>2. Finally update system package index and install Avidemux video editor:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border: none;\">sudo apt update &amp;&amp; sudo apt install avidemux2.6-qt<\/pre>\n<p>4.
