I need to run a command in terminal to open it everytime.<\/p>\n<p>Finally I got it fixed, and here&#8217;s how:<\/p>\n<p>1.) Open terminal by pressing Ctrl+Alt+T or from Unity Dash.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/terminal.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/terminal-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"terminal\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-698\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/terminal-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/terminal.jpg 309w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2.) Run below command to install required package gnome-panel without installing the recommends.<\/p>\n<pre>sudo apt-get install gnome-panel --no-install-recommends<\/pre>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/install-gnome-panel-no-recommends.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/install-gnome-panel-no-recommends.jpg\" alt=\"install-gnome-panel-no-recommends\" width=\"500\" height=\"48\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-699\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/install-gnome-panel-no-recommends.jpg 500w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/install-gnome-panel-no-recommends-300x28.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3.) From now, you can create a custom launcher by running this command:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo gnome-desktop-item-edit \/usr\/share\/applications\/ --create-new<\/pre>\n<p>It brings up a dialog, where you can set the launcher <b>icon<\/b>, <b>name<\/b>, and <b>command<\/b> to run it. <\/p>\n<p>The Celtx was installed into \/usr\/local\/celtx\/ directory, and run by root. So I found the icon from that directory, and type in command with <b>gksudo<\/b> at beginning.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/celtx-launcher.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/celtx-launcher.jpg\" alt=\"celtx-launcher\" width=\"400\" height=\"218\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-592\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/celtx-launcher.jpg 400w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/celtx-launcher-300x163.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once done,click OK.
