That&#8217;s not good, you&#8217;ll need another Administrator account which has the ability to reset your password.<\/p>\n<p>Here I will use the Gnome <b>Users and Groups<\/b> management tool which was default before Ubuntu goes to Unity desktop.<\/p>\n<p>To install Users and Groups, open up Ubuntu Software Center, search for and install <b>gnome-system-tools<\/b> package.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/install-gnome-system-tools.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/install-gnome-system-tools.jpg\" alt=\"install-gnome-system-tools\" width=\"400\" height=\"144\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-722\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/install-gnome-system-tools.jpg 400w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/install-gnome-system-tools-300x108.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then open this tool from Unity Dash:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/users-and-groups-unity.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/users-and-groups-unity-300x187.jpg\" alt=\"users-and-groups-unity\" width=\"300\" height=\"187\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-723\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/users-and-groups-unity-300x187.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/users-and-groups-unity.jpg 334w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Highlight the user you want it don&#8217;t ask password on log in.
