column in entry view<\/li>\n<li>Import hangs for special file<\/li>\n<li>Playqueue UI improvements<\/li>\n<li>Memory leak in error handling of utimes on podcast-timestamp<\/li>\n<li>Open settings crashes the app<\/li>\n<li>build failure with gcc 7.1.1<\/li>\n<li>Keyboard navigation with tab is broken by search entry widget<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>How to Install Rhythmbox 3.4.2 in Ubuntu:<\/h4>\n<p>The project leader for Ubuntu Budgie, <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~fossfreedom\" target=\"_blank\">fossfreedom<\/a>, was maintaining PPA with Rhythmbox package and its plugins, though they are not updated for a period of time.<\/p>\n<p>So I uploaded Rhythmbox 3.4.2 into <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~ubuntuhandbook1\/+archive\/ubuntu\/apps\/\" target=\"_blank\">the PPA<\/a>, available for <b>Ubuntu 16.04<\/b>, <b>Ubuntu 17.04<\/b>, and <b>Ubuntu 17.10<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><b>1.<\/b> Open terminal via Ctrl+Alt+T and run command to add the PPA:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:None;\">sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntuhandbook1\/apps<\/pre>\n<p><i>Input your password (no visual feedback while typing) when it prompts and hit Enter.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/mupdf-unofficial-ppa-600x76.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"76\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-5811\" remove:<\/h4>\n<p>To revert back to stock version of Rhythmbox in your Ubuntu, purge the PPA as well as downgrade the player via command:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo apt-get install ppa-purge && sudo ppa-purge ppa:ubuntuhandbook1\/apps<\/pre>\n<p>If it&#8217;s working good, you may still remove the PPA repository via <b>Software &#038; Updates<\/b> utility under Other Software
