Here&#8217;s how you can install it in Ubuntu 16.04 and higher.<\/p>\n<p>Changes in PyCharm 2017.3.2 include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Type annotation ahead of time. You can\u2019t put an inline type annotation when defining a variable in a for or a with  statement, so you need to provide the annotation in a separate place, <a href=\"https:\/\/youtrack.jetbrains.com\/issue\/PY-21864\" target=\"_blank\">read more on the ticket<\/a>. This is now supported in PyCharm.<\/li>\n<li>\u2018Show command line afterwards\u2019 now works correctly for remote interpreters. NON-INSTALL version, just extract and run executable file to launch the IDE:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href='https:\/\/www.jetbrains.com\/pycharm\/download\/#section=linux' class='arconix-button-flat arconix-button-large arconix-button-gray' target=\"_blank\" >Download PyCharm Linux binary<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><i>method 2:<\/i><\/b> or install the Snap package. App run in sandbox. Support for Ubuntu 16.04 and higher:<\/p>\n<p>Simply open terminal via Ctrl+Alt+T or by searching for &#8216;terminal&#8217; from app launcher.
