Here&#8217;s a tool make it easy to do the job in Ubuntu Desktop.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.com\/scarpetta\/pdfmixtool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PDF Mix Tool<\/a>, a free and open-source tool written in C++ and depends only on Qt 6 and PoDoFo.<\/p>\n<p>The app provides stupid simple user interface to operate PDF files in Linux. Simply choose an action you want to do in the left, then open\/import PDF files, finally click Save\/Extract\/Generate button, and done!<\/p>\n<p>So far, it support following actions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Merge multiple PDF files into single.<\/li>\n<li>Extract PDF pages into single or mutiple files.<\/li>\n<li>Delete PDF pages.<\/li>\n<li>Rotate PDF.<\/li>\n<li>Edit PDF Linux, openSUSE) have made the app package into system repositories.<\/p>\n<p>For Ubuntu, users may choose to install it via either Snap or Flatpak package.<\/p>\n<p><b>Option 1: Snap package<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>NOTE: The Snap seems not working good in my case in Ubuntu 24.04 with Xorg.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Snap package is quite easy to install, simply launch App Center (or Ubuntu Software) then search and install &#8216;PDF Mix Tool&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/pdfmixtool-appcenter.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-48401\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/pdfmixtool-appcenter-700x444.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"610\" package<\/b><\/p>\n<p>For choice, the app can be also installed via <a href=\"https:\/\/flathub.org\/apps\/eu.scarpetta.PDFMixTool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flatpak package<\/a> that works in most Linux.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First, press Ctrl+Alt+T to open terminal and run command to install Flatpak daemon:\n<pre>sudo apt install flatpak<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>Then, install the app as Flatpak package via command:\n<pre>flatpak install https:\/\/dl.flathub.org\/repo\/appstream\/eu.scarpetta.PDFMixTool.flatpakref<\/pre>\n<p><a terminal:<\/p>\n<pre>flatpak run eu.scarpetta.PDFMixTool<\/pre>\n<h3>Uninstall PDF Mix Tool<\/h3>\n<p>To uninstall the software package, either use Ubuntu Software (or App Center) for the Snap package.<\/p>\n<p>Or run the command below to uninstall Flatpak package:<\/p>\n<pre>flatpak uninstall --delete-data eu.scarpetta.PDFMixTool<\/pre>\n<p>Optionally, you may also run <code>flatpak
