Here&#8217;s how to install it in Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu 18.04, and higher.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/download\/driverResults.aspx\/146189\/en-us\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NVIDIA 430.09<\/a> was released as first beta with following new features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New GPUs Support. GeForce GTX 1650, GeForce GTX 1650 with Max-Q Design, GeForce GTX 1660 Ti with Max-Q Design<\/li>\n<li>Added HEVC YUV 4:4:4 decode support to the NVIDIA VDPAU driver.<\/li>\n<li>Raised the minimum supported X.Org xserver version to 1.7 <\/li>\n<li>Added support for the GL_NV_vdpau_interop2 OpenGL extension<\/li>\n<li>Bug-fixes, and various other VDPAU additions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/geforce-gtx1650-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-8882\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/geforce-gtx1650.jpg 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/geforce-gtx1650-450x300.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>How to Install NVIDIA Driver 430.09 in Ubuntu:<\/h4>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~graphics-drivers\/+archive\/ubuntu\/ppa\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Graphics Drivers Team PPA<\/a> has built the 430.09 packages for all current Ubuntu releases, though it&#8217;s still in beta stage.<\/p>\n<p><b>1.<\/b> Open terminal either via <b>Ctrl+Alt+T<\/b> keyboard shortcut or by searching for &#8216;terminal&#8217; from application menu.
