executable) package while Ubuntu PPA and snap packages are not updated at the moment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href='https:\/\/musescore.org\/en\/download\/musescore-x86_64.AppImage' class='arconix-button-flat arconix-button-large arconix-button-tan' target=\"_blank\" >MuseScore Appimage (64-bit)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Right-click the Appimage, go to <u>Properties -> Permissions -> tick the box says &#8216;Allow executing file as program&#8217;<\/u>, finally run it to launch MuseScore 3.3:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~mscore-ubuntu\/+archive\/ubuntu\/mscore3-stable\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PPA repository<\/a> contains most recent MuseScore <code>.deb<\/code> packages for Ubuntu 18.04, Ubuntu 19.04, and Ubuntu 19.10.<\/p>\n<p><i>NOTE: The PPA is not updated at the moment, check the previous PPA link before getting started.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>1.<\/b> Open terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run command to add the PPA:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mscore-ubuntu\/mscore3-stable<\/pre>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" command:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo apt install musescore3<\/pre>\n<p><b>Snap package (Official):<\/b><\/p>\n<p>MuseScore offers official Snap package (runs in sandbox), though it&#8217;s not updated at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>Open <b>Ubuntu Software<\/b>, search for and install <code>musescore<\/code> package.
