It features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Simple but powerful, and very fast to do everything.<\/li>\n<li>Works on Linux, Windows, and Mac OS.<\/li>\n<li>Basic image editing capabilities<\/li>\n<li>Paint brushes<\/li>\n<li>Image filters<\/li>\n<li>Color adjustments<\/li>\n<li>And more advanced features such as Batch image processing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/photoflare.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"392\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9764\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/photoflare.png 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/photoflare-450x294.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>How to Install PhotoFlare in Ubuntu:<\/h4>\n<p>The image editing software is available in Ubuntu universe repositories since Ubuntu 19.04, though it may be old as Ubuntu does not offer the software updates.<\/p>\n<p>To install the latest version, and receive future updates via <b>Software Updater<\/b> utility, the official <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~photoflare\/+archive\/ubuntu\/photoflare-stable\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Photoflare stable PPA<\/a> maintains the packages with support for Ubuntu 18.04, Ubuntu 19.04, and Ubuntu 19.10 so far.<\/p>\n<p><b>1.)<\/b> Open <u>terminal<\/u> by either pressing <b>Ctrl+Alt+T<\/b> on keyboard, or searching for &#8216;terminal&#8217; from application menu.
