You can simply search for and install <code>remote touchpad<\/code> in Ubuntu Software for 22.04 and earlier, or App Center for 24.04 and higher:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/remote-touchpad.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-49092\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/remote-touchpad-700x430.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"610\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/remote-touchpad-700x430.webp 700w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/remote-touchpad-300x184.webp 300w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/remote-touchpad-768x472.webp 768w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/remote-touchpad.webp 1062w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Option 2: Install via Flatpak package<\/h3>\n<p>It also available to install via Flatpak package in the <a href=\"https:\/\/flathub.org\/apps\/details\/com.github.unrud.RemoteTouchpad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flathub repository<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Linux Mint and Fedora (with 3rd party repository enabled) can search &amp; install the package from either Software Manager or GNOME Software.<\/p>\n<p>While, Debian\/Ubuntu users may run the 2 commands one by one to install:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enable flatpak support:\n<pre>sudo apt install flatpak<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>Install the app package:\n<pre>flatpak install https:\/\/dl.flathub.org\/repo\/appstream\/com.github.unrud.RemoteTouchpad.flatpakref<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once installed, launch the utility from your system application menu.
