It&#8217;s scheduled to be officially released on <b>April 23rd<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>The new LTS features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Linux 5.4 Kernel.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Gnome 3.36.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>New dark mode setting.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Show computer&#8217;s vendor logo on startup.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>WireGuard Support out of the box.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>And WiFi (RTL8723DE) works out of the box in my HP laptop<\/b><\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/ubuntu2004beta.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"416\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9937\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/ubuntu2004beta.png 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/ubuntu2004beta-450x312.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Download \/ Upgrade to Ubuntu 20.04:<\/h4>\n<p>The 64-bit desktop and sever images are available to download at the link below:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href='http:\/\/releases.ubuntu.com\/20.04\/' class='arconix-button-flat arconix-button-large arconix-button-tan' target=\"_blank\" >Download Ubuntu 20.04<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Though I would recommend to do a fresh install of the new LTS, you can now upgrade to Ubuntu 20.04 beta (then upgrade to final from beta) directly from <b>Ubuntu 18.04<\/b> and or <b>Ubuntu 19.10<\/b>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"arconix-box arconix-box-red\"><i class='fa fa-2x pull-left fa-exclamation-triangle'><\/i><div class=\"arconix-box-content\">The Beta release may contain bugs.
