Linux Kernel 6.14 was released yesterday on Monday! Linus Torvalds announced it in lkml.org:
So it’s early Monday morning (well – early for me, I’m not really a morning person), and I’d love to have some good excuse for why I didn’t do the 6.14 release yesterday on my regular Sunday afternoon release schedule.
I’d like to say that some important last-minute thing came up and delayed things.

The default wallpapers for the upcoming Ubuntu 25.04 has been revealed today. Here are the download link along with the competition winner images.
Ubuntu 25.04, code-name Plucky Puffin, is a short-term release planned to be made available on April 17, 2025. It features GNOME Desktop 48 and Linux Kernel 6.14 (though it’s still in RC development stage), with official support until Jan 2026.

Dock to panel, the popular GNOME extension that merge the top-bar and bottom dock (aka the dash) into single classic Windows style panel, got big updates a few days ago.
The new release added GNOME 48 support, meaning it now works in Ubuntu 25.04 and Fedora 42 Workstation, though both are still in development at the moment of writing.

Dolphin Emulator, the free open-source GameCude and Wii emulator, released new 2503 release on Monday.
The new release improved the functionality to edit per-game basis graphics settings. In addition to the text interface, it now has visual interface to edit the settings from game properties tab.

Audacity audio editor released new 3.7.2 version today. PPA updated for Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 24.04, Ubuntu 24.10, and Linux Mint 21/22.
The new Audacity 3.7.2 is a maintenance release contains primarily bug-fixes. There’s however a new UUID system that automatically generates random numbers for each copy of the app.
Refine, the graphical configuration tool for GNOME, got a new feature update few days ago.
Refine is a GNOME Tweaks alternative app that provides a graphical interface to configure advanced and experimental features in GNOME Desktop.
The app is in early development stage that keeps adding new features. And, now it supports re-arranging window title buttons.
