Install Amarok 2.8.0 via PPA:
The Kubuntu Backports PPA has updated for Ubuntu 13.04 and Ubuntu 12.04 users. Press Ctrl+Alt+T to open terminal. When it opens, run command to add the PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
Then update and install:
sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install amarok
