Flameshot is a powerful yet simple to use screenshot tool that features on-screen editing support. The app has been moving slowly since the last 12.1.0. And, it finally released new version after more than 3 years of development.
Libinput, the free open-source input library and driver, released new 1.29.0 version few days ago.
Libinput is a popular input library, that’s default in Ubuntu, Fedora, and many other Linux Distributions, for handling mice, keyboards, touchpads/touchscreens, and other input devices.

VirtualBox 7.2.0 RC1, the third development release for the next major version of Oracle’s virtualization software, is available to download few days ago.
Compare to the last Beta, the RC1 release added explicit unattended installation support for Oracle Linux 10, while others are mostly bug-fixes.

Ubuntu 25.10 snapshot 3, the third development release for the next Ubuntu release, is available for testing purpose.
As you may know, Ubuntu introduced monthly snapshot releases and released the first one in May 29. Now, the July release is finally available.
FFmpeg, the popular free open-source multi-media library, is going to release the new major 8.0 version in next few weeks in August.

User of Chrome, Chromium, or Vivaldi? Here are Ubuntu artwork themes for your web browser!
Mauro Gaspari, the Ubuntu Team member has been working on creating Ubuntu artwork themes for Chrome and Vivaldi browsers since a year ago.
With the themes, you web browser will have an orange header bar, with Ubuntu wallpaper as background in empty tabs. While tab and inactive tab use Ubuntu colors from the Ubuntu color palette, and frame uses colors picked from the new tab background.

Krita, the free open-source KDE graphics editor, release new 5.2.10 few weeks ago, then 5.2.11 with quick fixes few days ago.
Since initial version that was released on 21 June 2005, Krita is now 20 years old. And, the new 5.2.11 release is perhaps the last bug-fixes, as the developer team is now focusing on the next Krita 5.3.0 feature release and Krita 6.0.0 for Qt6 port.
