  1. hey, ardour is not FREE !!!

    • I’ve been using since version 2 and always have used for free until you get the option to download the source code, because you say that is not free?

    • The developers are asking for financial support to be able to do full time development on ardour. But the software indeed is free.

  2. It’s licensed under GPLv2.
Why do you not think that this is free?

  3. he’s just trolling out of ignorance! and even if it wouldn’t be for free, I’d pay anyway for this great program!
everybody should support projects like Ardour in the open source world!

  4. He’s not trolling, Ardour 4 is not free, you can install it but after a few days you’re asked to pay for it. Out of experience !

    • Ardour 4 is free, but it can depend on how you install it. I don’t like the way its developers ask for financial support, because it is confusing (and people then think it is not free).
