For users switching from Microsoft Windows, there’s now a new Linux Distribution with default theme looks like Windows 10 and/or Windows 11.

It’s Wubuntu (Windows Ubuntu), based on Ubuntu.

It so far includes 2 versions based on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. One with Windows 11 theme on KDE Plasma 5 desktop, and another with Windows 10 theme on Cinnamon desktop.

Besides the default Windows style theme, it also includes some Windows apps, such as Edge browser, Copilot (Microsoft AI), OneDrive, PowerShell (Pro only), Teams. And, it ships with PowerToys with Android support, and Wine by default for running Windows apps/games.

Wubuntu does not require TPM, secure boot or any other hardware requirements for its operation. And, it’s available in two editions: free edition and professional edition (cost $35 for a license). But, there’s so far no information about what’s difference between them.

You can alternatively go to its website for the download link and donate for the serial key.
